Introducing our main site “Worldwatch” which features full studies through the books of the Bible, studies in Doctrine and Prophecy and extensive coverage of world news.
Subject to actual observation the first light of the new moon is expected to be visible at Jerusalem at sunset ending 2 Oct, thus making the day beginning at sunset 2 Oct through to sunset 3 Oct; the first day of the seventh biblical month.
The first day of the seventh biblical month is God’s commanded High Holy Day of Yom Teruah, also called the Feast of Trumpets.
Because there is always a possibility that the moon might not be seen on the projected date it is highly recommended that both the projected day and the following day be scheduled to take off from work.
